About Me
Designer, Learner, Collaborator, Cat-lover, and spicy food enthusiast Based in iowa.
After earning undergraduate BBA degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Iowa and working full-time for a few years post-graduation, I quickly realized my career interests no longer aligned with what I studied during my four undergraduate years at UIowa. Thankfully, while I was trying to decide how I could pivot to a more creative field, I discovered UX, UI, and product design. I’ve just recently completed a Master’s in Human Computer Interaction from Iowa State University and am actively pursuing a career in design post-graduation. Weird career trajectory, I know!
During this career pivot, I’ve uncovered a passion for experience design. This love for reimagining problem spaces and crafting thoughtfully designed experiences is a reflection of my desire to bring users together through intuitive, delightful, and innovative products to address the needs of those users.
I’m from Illinois but currently live in Iowa with my two cats, Norrie and Georgie, and my fiancé, Blake.
When I'm not designing, hopefully I’m devouring a street taco, inhaling an ice cream cone, snuggling my two cats, powering through a hike, or relaxing on a beach somewhere.
